A lot of information is available on the Internet and in conventional published literature about this grand text of Vedanta, almost all of it of extremely poor quality, and misleading to boot.  Here, for the first time on the Net, is a partial presentation of the truth.  At this time, complete translations of commentaries are available for certain important verses, and more will be added with time.
